I never thought of actually entering the world of medicines since then. Before, with the innocence of a child, when I see a nurse administering medicines to a patient, all I could think was it's just some kind of food that would make you feel better forever and you will not suffer the same sickness again. Yet, my thoughts were invaded by TLE. It made me think that there's more to it than I'll ever know
.
.
After one week of discussing about Home Nursing, my point of view on this certain topic changed. It made me realize that administering medicines should be done seriously and not just by making your patient drink this and that like what you probably do with your barbie dolls way back.
To administer medicines, there are things that you should keep in mind, like, to know when and what time you should give the certain medicine, to know the right dosage, right approach, right route, right medicine and of course, you should know the right patient. This knowledge is important since proper administering of medicines can be a great help in your patient's recovery. How? If you are responsible enough to obey the doctor's prescription, like, following the right time and dosage, and you are responsible enough to never miss a day, then your patient, for sure, will have a fast recovery.
I learned all these things through TLE. Simple as that, medicine mind-invasion was surely a great help.
